Friday Night with the Hamek Davar (15:13)
וכי־יטהר הזב מזובו וספר לו שבעת ימים לטהרתו וכבס בגדיו ורחץ בשרו במים חיים וטהר
When the one with a discharge becomes purified of his discharge, he shall count off seven days for his purification, wash those clothes, and bathe his body in fresh water; then he shall be pure.
The Netziv says that this count can be done mentally-with out saying each day. The fact that the passuk says “for him”— that this count is only for himself.
Bonus( The Netzvi connect this mitzvah to the mitzvah of Sefiras Ha’Omer)
Shabbat Day with the Or HaChaim (10:2)
ואיש או אשה כי־יהיה בו נגע בראש או בזקן
If a man or a woman has an affection on the head or in the beard,
The Or HaChaim ask’s a pretty straight forward question-why does the passuk call out men and women when it’s discussing tzaara's of the head and beard-women (typically) don’t grow beards?
The Torah had to explicitly say "or a woman," instead of using the collective term אדם for both man and woman because women do not usually grow beards. If it was just אדם would conclude that the halacha only applies to people who normally grow beards which can include either minors or non-Jews. So that means any tzaras on the beard of a woman would not be subject to the halacha here.
The Torah therefore wrote איש או אשה, to tell us that if a woman grows hair in a part of her face where a man grows a beard, the halacha applies to her also.
Seudas Shlishi with Igra D’Kallah (9:22)
זאת תהיה תורת המצרע ביום טהרתו והובא אל־הכהן
This shall be the ritual for a leper at the day of being purified. When it has been reported to the priest,
The Dinover wants to understand why the Torah needs to tell us the scene of this Metzorah being with the Kohen during the day.
He says that a Metzorah should understand that his purification has to take place during the day, which is associated with chessed and has to be done with a Kohen, who is also associated with chessed. The combination of being with a person of chessed at a time ripe for chessed will overpower the din-the harsh judgement, of tzaaras and will help him heal from the spiritual malady.
