Friday Night with the Hamek Davar (39:2)
ויעש את־האפד זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר
The ephod was made of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen.
The Netziv notices that some passukim around the Bigdei Kahunah start in the singular language, followed by a passuk that uses plural language.
He explained that Beztalel had started working on the creation of this clothing and then handed over the tasks to artisans so that they could get paid. In the end the clothing are not attributed to Beztalel since miztvot are attributed to the person )or people) who completed the mitzvah
Shabbat Day with the Or HaChaim (39:32)
ותכל כל־עבדת משכן אהל מועד ויעשו בני ישראל ככל אשר צוה יהוה את־משה כן עשו
Thus was completed all the work of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. The Israelites did so; just as יהוה had commanded Moses, so they did.
The Or HaChaim discusses why the passuk uses a passive voice.
The word ותכל indicates that the completion was not the result of Bnei Yisrael not continuing; as far as they were concerned, they would gladly have continued to work on that project. The word ותכל refers to the end of the verse, "what Hashem had commanded." The work for the Mishkan was terminated following Hashem’s instructions.
Seudas Shlishi with Igra D’Kallah (35:20)
אלה פקודי המשכן משכן העדת אשר פקד על־פי משה עבדת הלוים ביד איתמר בן־אהרן הכהן
These are the records of the Tabernacle, the Tabernacle of the Pact, which were drawn up at Moses’ bidding—the work of the Levites under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.
In every single task, the Torah says, 'As Hashem commanded Moshe.' The repatition indicates that Klal Yisrael were concerned that they might lack some intention or specific focus required for each task. Therefore, they stated with each task, 'As the Hashem commanded Moshe,' signifying that Bnei Yisrael acted with the proper mindset of fulfilling the command.
